I built my YouTube channel about Philosophy about 2weeks ago but I just have a few views and subs.

What are the problems?
Could you guys give me some advice? What can I do now?

By the looks of it, the quality is very poor.

That could be it. I see some things just in the thumbnails that don't make much sense.

You should work on the quality.

Honestly, it could be a lot worse. Many people go months if not years without being noticed, at least your content is somewhat being pushed into the algorithm.
Just keep posting and your videos should pick up eventually.

Thank you, bro

It might sound a bit harsh, but based on my experience, I will tell you how to help grow your YouTube channel.

Firstly, unlike videos that induce clicks with sensational content, yours have a very serious tone. (These are usually referred to as non-mainstream videos)

Non-mainstream topic videos are less sought after by viewers but are more noticeable in niche markets. Of course, it will still be tough if no one is looking for them at all.

There are a few things you could try first:

Change your thumbnails
For non-YouTube Shorts videos, thumbnails influence over 30% of the engagement. Convincing viewers to click on your video is the biggest challenge before even assessing the video quality.

Check the quality of your videos
I can't check the quality of your videos myself to provide detailed advice, but the idea is to bring interesting topics (main topics) to the forefront and make videos that are not too long. This will result in fewer viewers dropping out early on, which will improve the performance of your videos.

I recommend starting with these simple methods to activate your YouTube channel. I'm rooting for your growth, stay strong! :)

Above all, don't forget that you need to keep going without giving up!

thank you from the bottom of my heart!

1. Thumbnails. As you have already been told above, you need to work on this.

2. Content. Subtitles in the center of the video. The visuals - a slideshow consisting simply of static images of philosophers' faces. In 2023? Seriously?) And all this, in addition, is voiced by not the best robotic voice.

You need to fundamentally change your approach to content creation.

Try targeting search first.

That's what's recommended in the beginning.

I'm sure there are some keywords in your niche where you can rank easily.

not all ai content is garbage
Exactly
They keep spreading this false info
My advice to any newbie coming starting a YouTube channel is , learn from other monetized channels in your niche and copy what they’re doing and make yours better. Don’t listen to anyone giving advice who you aren’t sure they even have a channel
