I think there is still huge opportunity for AI. There are some niches where google is desperate to supply content as there is less supply of content. Just choose those and you will see the results yourself.

Nah choom, chatgpt is just the start. Wait until things start picking more on the AI front and you'll be seeing how much scratch is out there.

ChatGPT is so much more than just blog writing. So no, ChatGPT will never become useless at this point. It will only improve from here which is impressive.
As for punishment for blogs using AI-generated, I agree, this should be a punishment. The AI-generated content is not meant to be the sole "purpose" or point for writing. It is made to give "factual" data that has been compromised to cover a general idea of what you "input".
You are supposed to use that data and turn it into something of more unique value.
Doing so, you should be rewarded, I agree.

The method I am using atm is to write an article in English and then translating into target language, also using chatGPT. This worked well so far so I can't complain

I think it's slowly but surely becoming useless... Seriously, half a year ago it was giving better replies...
