I don't think that adult videos would be good to train on. Using chat logs and chat logs+audio from adult video chat websites, would probably create a better adult chatbot.

The scenario that I see is both media and politics publicly wanting to stop it. (But secretly keeping it for themselves)

The media is already losing the war for credibility. Everyday more and more people realize that they're full of crap and start ignoring them.
Politicians are going to use AI to make their lies believable to the UN, WEF, WHO, etc... The nations that they screw over are going to start to ally and find ways to fight back.

When everything gets really bad and f*cking pathetically stupid... World governments will pass an agreement and banning /regulating AI. They'll scream Hallelujah but each government will have a Top Secret AI program in their basement.
