Reusing AI Art with a Twist: Does Google See the Difference?

I'm reaching out to this knowledgeable community for some insights on an SEO-related issue I've been pondering.

I have generated numerous images using Midjourney, and they've served their purpose well. However, I'm considering a strategy that involves reusing these images with very minor modifications. The changes I'm thinking of are extremely subtle – such as slight cropping, minor adjustments to brightness or colors, but essentially keeping the changes almost imperceptible.
The idea is that visually, the images would appear almost identical to their original versions, but technically, they would be different files due to these modifications.

My question is: From an SEO perspective, particularly concerning Google's algorithms, would these slightly altered images be considered "new" content? Can I utilize them for new articles without running into issues of redundancy or being penalized for duplicate content?​

I'm trying to balance the need for fresh content with the practicality of maximizing my existing resources. Any insights, experiences, or recommendations on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You won't have problems even if you use existing pictures without any modifications,
As long as you use the right content, you'll be good to go,

The only concern would be copyright issues if you scraping pictures,
But since you're using AI pics, you're good to go,

I got a website with all of the posts images scraped from google,
They do the job and even rank in google pics while searching for the keywords

What about the "unique" image because that the goal of my modification,

Not really, it will be detected as a copied ones, you'll have to implement more modifications,
That, at least when you're using Google Lens/images, it will come up with the source,

Seo is a different case, you can't really tell what Google SERP bots consider unique,
Or if they're even considering using original images at all

I could be wrong but with images you can only get into trouble if you're infringing copyrights.
I don't think using the same image on multiple websites/articles will negatively affect your SEO. If that was the case all the free images websites would become useless overnight as thousands of people may end up using the same image on their blogs.

I don't think G really cares. We like to think it does, and sometimes are 'scared' of it...
A good solution is the bulk edit with Canva, where you can edit/recreate many images with a small logo, or text..

since many years i use personaly the soft : Fastone Viewer and i saw i can make bulk edit with it,
but with Canva i guess i can make it more custom!

but i want to optimise my SEO and from what i know unique image is always better,
so my main idea is to to make a very little change by bulk on my image i have already generated and hoping it will be a new "unique" image for google

+ Do you think add Exif is really useful? always the same in a way to differentiate it

If you can have your art created manually, that is best, there are a lot of people who offer such service on Fiverr
