AI generated answers shouldn't appear on this forum

It seems like some users on this forum farm messages by literally putting someone's question into ChatGPT, and paste the answer here on BHW.
TBH, some of those are jr. VIP etc.

Whats your thoughts on that?
I personally am not a big fan of this, since I come to this forum for some human connection/discussions. Whats worse, is AI is not always right So at least fact check.
That is just low quality content like AI generated blogs or something. Not to mention farming posts like that, can be used to make money by jr. Vips to advertise for better prices in signature.

I guess, since this forum is not a legal entity, or a court. People can get banned based on assumptions. Like, social media websites flag bots, because they assume that you might be doing something sketchy based on 100 different factors. Same could be done here. Use various AI detection tools for the posts, get a general average. Flag the account, compare to previous messages. Stuff like that. But... in the end, might be tilting with windmills here. Depends on perspective hm

I usually report such posts as they are mostly completely useless, don't respond what the OP is asking and sometimes, as you say, are false. The reports are always resolved positively, at least in my case, and the user is either getting his message(s) deleted, or even banned.

Well, for one thing. Getting to certain amount of messages gives you certain titles on the forum. Later one you decide to pay for upgrade, you can have a signature and advertise services for someone there. In more places your comments are, the better is the advertisement and the more you might get paid. Maybe there is more Im quite new here as well

i hate reading them. they generally add nothing to the conversation. guys if you're doing it, at least tell chatgpt "less words" after your output.
seen some users blatantly abuse it just to get post count up/get more eyes on their signature. eventually these guys show themselves the door when community calls them out.

This forum is meant for REAL humans. It is ridiculous why should anyone use AI to generate answers. Still people do this to inflate their post count.

Whenever I come across such an attempt I make sure I delete that post and apply infraction to them. Repeat offenders get banned too.

While we keep hunting such content ourselves, if you find any such crap posts then please use the 'Report' button to report it and we will take immediate action to get rid of them.

So I've been using ChatGPT a lotttt. Maybe AI generated answers are good to provide people with sometimes? I'm not doing this here, at least at this time, but yeah CGPT provides me with more knowledge and understanding that most humans I come into contact with. It has even been helping with my dealings with other humans.

Looks like most people don't know what AI and how the articles looks like.

I have posted couple times on here, only for some members to say they are generated posts, which I found laughable.

Also to add, just like Google, you can't AI out of what you don't know, AI only help you fine tune your already existing knowledge about a subject. What you don't know, you don't know.
