With no backlink profile (a couple from new domain crawlers) or domain history, my newly registered domain, specific to a niche, has already been ranking for featured snippets. I ran this through SERanker and it confirms that I have multiple featured snippets.

Do new websites normally rank this quickly for featured snippets? The specific keywords don't necessarily hold a ton of traffic, but position 0 for a website that's only a week old is pretty good, no?

I know that it can be wiped out anytime, but has anyone experienced securing featured snippets this fast?

Edit: I only have 4 blogs posted so far, averaging 1200 words each.

Hey, that's quite the head start! New domains snagging featured snippets this early isn't the norm, but it can happen if your content nails the searcher's intent spot-on and there's a gap in the current SERPs. The algo's unpredictable, so while it's great, remember to keep up the content quality.

if it's a long tail kw with little competition and/or doesn't have results that satisfy user intent then it's not that surprising, although that is indeed a very promising sign. keep going man, looks like you've picked a really good niche

That's quite impressive! Ranking for featured snippets on a brand-new domain is not common, but it can happen, especially if your content is highly relevant and provides the best answer to the query. It's a great start, but as you mentioned, maintaining that position might require ongoing optimization and content quality. Keep up the good work and continue to build on your success!

wow that;s impressive, never seen it happen before and i can't possibly believe that a site with 4 posts is ranking for featured snippets

If you PM me, I can show you my domain, and the keywords they show up on featured snippets for.

Are you sure that the domain is new?
Happened to me that I register a domain thinking that it's new to find that it was bought by someone else before

Yep! I checked on WHOIS and it says:

Registered On: 2023-XX-XX

Completely brand new and fresh.

The downside of featured snippets is that many users will read the content directly from SERP and will not visit your website.

i believe you, you have no reason to lie about this.
i was just saying it's unbelievable for me for a 4posts website to rank for snippets

Well, that's really great for a new domain. I'd see if I can get some more snippets.

Yes, I had that happen before. Works on very narrow niches or 0 comp keywords.

With this website you got a great potential. Start working more on it and you'll bank hard.

I have experienced this, but not on Google; it's on Bing.
