I've created the website, used SEO tools to make the page content. However, I'm struggling to generate backlinks for my content.

I'm trying to get more people to my Free Instagram Engagement app, but the keywords are pretty hard. So I'm looking at long-tail keywords.

I read online that Guest Blogging doesn't work anymore (Blog Parasite), due to Google eliminating the organic reach of these sites.

Can anyone offer any tips to get started to get good backlinks? As I'm reading conflicting things on here.

google constantly works on identifying link farms (some of those can look pretty legit, but they are still link farms). Theres plenty of websites where you can get high powered links from. Easiest is probably to just start buying here on BHW to get started. Building links yourself is cheaper and will likely give better quality, but it can be hard to figure out how to get started.

To build backlinks, create high-quality, relevant content that other websites want to link to. You can also:

  1. Reach out to industry influencers and ask for links.
  2. Guest post on reputable websites.
  3. Share your content on social media and relevant online communities.
  4. Submit your site to online directories.
  5. Use broken link building by finding broken links on other sites and suggesting your content as a replacement.
  6. Build relationships with other webmasters and offer to exchange links when relevant.
  7. Create and promote valuable infographics or other visual content.
Remember, quality matters more than quantity when it comes to backlinks, and avoid using spammy or black-hat techniques.
those chatgpt answers drive me nuts. Saying avoiding black-hat techniques on a black hat forum is the killer lol.

At the very least, you edited the keywords out rather than copying them directly.

Can you elaborate? Sites that are doing guest posting are getting hit with organic reach.
I understand that the recent hits are not sparing anyone but there isn't any better way to avoid hits than to make a solid backlink profile.

This is how high authority websites are getting away everytime.

So what you are saying is that some guest posting sites have not been hit by Google? How can I find out what sites are good and what sites have been hit?

Is there any services out there that can tell me this?

I won't write you a full-length guide, but I will say that one aspect that many value with backlinks is relevancy. For example, with no outside influence, a casino website would not typically provide a backlink to a gardening website. This is why relevancy is important.

... This is also why you post in the relevant section, because the people who know about backlinks are more likely to be using the link building subforum, not the blogging subforum.

Most valuable links are earned over time
It's better to focus on content aspect if you don't have a budget to invest in links

There is no sevice like thism you have to keep track of your competitors.

Guest blogging still works if it's high-quality and relevant. Target niche blogs related to social media marketing for your app. Try using HARO for high-quality backlinks by providing insights to journalists. Also, create share-worthy content on your site, like infographics or in-depth guides, to naturally attract links. Keep your efforts quality-focused.
