Freelancing Platforms Getting Shitter - Newbie Freelancers Don't Do This

It seems that freelancing platforms are getting shittier and shittier one after the other.

You post a simple task that you just need for outsourcing and nothing more, Lets just say (Rotating an image), and you ask 1 clear simple question in your job description just for the sake of making a choice between the influencers.

Then with in seconds you get

I think some one has plugged ChatGPT bot into his task bids of Upwork ?


Moral of the story: If you are new freelancer, Never ever use Fancy words and long ass descriptions as if you are applying for 9 to 5 job, some times simple humane answers are better


I just noticed the profiles that I mentioned above and dozen others with similar long, Chatgpt'ish answers all got one thing in common which is they made 0 Dollars! besides being veterans.

Here is an answer I got from 900$+ Earned account which is newer than those above profiles.

Whenever I write online these days I make sure to steer away from writing in a way like ChatGPT at this point most savy people know what the writing of large language models sounds like.

You can always use it to benefit your writing but defiantly got to make sure you change it, in my case I have to change it to British English. When I see American English being used I know people are using ChatGPT, in my country atleast.

It's honestly easier to just build your own site out now & attempt to get clients from subreddits like r/slavelabor.

Relying on freelance sites, you'll be price compared to everyone else anyway & not value based.

Not to mention they can seemly end your account for what could a minor reason.

Too much risk imo.

Was pretty good with freelancing, now transitioned to solopreneur. When I was sending proposals, always I was giving solutions or how I would specifically tackle the project in the proposal, cause I wanted them to know I really read their project and understood the assignment. Was a good period but I got to big and better things, never regret. I did regret though the end of Elance for connoisseurs

Freelancing is good is you are just starting off making a quick income online but usually it is extremely competitive and the people who rely only on freelancing act the way that do because of the immense competition and not constant orders they get. Also the freelancing platforms are usually ripping them off both the sellers and the buyers

Yeah, I seriously think grocery store cashiers earn the same or more and have better work stability. Only positive is that you work remotely, but even that isn't always true, lots of companies want you to come over irl and shot reels for them.

Majority of the people will always go the easy way. That is why human fine-tuning will always be the gamechanger amongst all these AI fuss. People are still using GPT 3.5 to directly write and paste in their WordPress site without any moderation. There are majority of people using GPT to reply HARO in an autopilot mode without human intervention and just like what you mentioned here, they are all having one thing in common - failure to achieve what they apparently wanted to achieve.
