Haven't used them, but tried similar tools. They all use GPT, which is pretty much free - along with Claude, Bard, etc. There's no reason to pay for any of these tools imo.

Jasper is a pretty good tool but with all the AI writing tools available it doesn't make much sense to pay for it.

We have an active subscription and have had a subscription since pretty much day 1 with them. We have a pretty good deal, but almost positive I am going to drop the subscription next year.

It's fine. There are better tools out there. Zimmwriter, for instance.
