I used to do this way of promoting before the big Twitter update, for me worked, likes + retweets + comments from accounts with interests in the topic you need to get into worked for me, But I had 600 accs, not everyone has a farm like that, I know a lot of people got into topics in some other way

Interact with posts or comments related to your content. Do this consistent and often enough and the chances are good that you'll get swept up by the recommendation algo. There's still a good amount of luck needed for it, as far as I understand.

Ive seen brand new accounts that 1. have never interacted with any other pages, feature NSFW content but find a way to not get the posted flagged. Its not ads i know that for a fact.
