It can still generate pretty decent results but Mass DMs is honestly more of a churn-and-burn strategy. It doesn't support account longevity in the same way that other methods do. It works better for use cases that are focused on generating leads, not for broad traffic generation (which OF, as a niche, is really good at converting.)
I've had much better results from running story reactions with OF model accounts than Mass DMs. It appears as much more organic and taps into that element of intrigue (who's this girl that liked my story). Sending out Mass DMs just doesn't carry the same level of appeal and gets recognized as spam very easily, hence why it tends to mainly work for niches that are focused on generating leads by offering free trials/discounts/products in the CTA of the message. People will still recognize it for what it is (a spam message) but if your offer/message is enticing enough, many will disregard it and be willing to message the attached profile below the message text in my anecdotal experience. For OF, there's just better options available.
