For people who have run multiple subreddits when, if for any reason, would you give up on a subreddit and start again? I lost my main crossposting account a couple weeks ago and since then my growth hasn`t been the same it is not dead but everything in terms of growth has diminished significantly.

I am thinking too rather sort out some more accounts and keep going or just start a fresh with the new experience I have any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

It depends on the subreddit category and community I think. Starting fresh with 0 subs may be harder in some cases. What's the advantage of fresh start? I can't think of any if you are going to use the same method(crossposting).

I`m not sure of the benefit just curious to get others opinions and yes but in a more structured way.

Sometimes you have no other choice other than giving up on a subreddit and start again. Don't get too attached to anything on Reddit, because it just doesn't belong to you.

You have to get used to the constant deleting, that's why it's good to have a lot of subreddits and manage them through software and actually scripts, they deleted xxx subreddits for me and I don't even know why, e.g. semi-agricultural topics :)))

a lot of AI started working on these deletions so it's speeding up, unfortunately it deletes pretty good channels too.

What are signs for you that means it`s time to give up on a subreddit?

If you don`t have software what do you recommend?
