Should I redirect this domain?

Recently, I got hands on a badass domain. It falls under gaming niche but the problem I am facing right now is to choose between the two:

1. Use the original domain
2. 301 redirect to a new domain

The second option is because the original domain name contains a game name and my plan is to create content on all games. So, what should I do?

you said that you intend to talk about many games on your site, right?

Well, one of those many games will probably be the one that the expired domain is related to, and if you're going to have each game on a separate page on your site you can point this expired domain to that particular page so you can keep the things relevant. That's what I meant

your 2nd option is good thinking if you plan to create a new website in the same niche as you said game. So I would highly suggest you create a new website with proper desing and write some human high quality content to get best feedback.

You should strongly consider implementing a 301 redirect. Not only does it improve your link juice, but since the niche is the same, why wait any longer?
