Hey, everybody. I have a question. One of the sites I know hides content from users showing it only to search engines, but the most interesting is not just that he hides it, but how, I just do not understand how possible in this case to detect content in general, guys please tell me.
The essence is that the man hid the content from all but ip addresses of Google, to be more precise the content is seen only by Googlebot Smartphone, Googlebot Desktop, Googlebot Image. Most likely so, because when checking the bots associated with Google-InspectionTool shows that content. I'm sure that the site has content, because the site takes the first position in a fairly competitive query, but it really surprised me, the links are of course also hidden from Ahrefs, but those that I found through parsers could not help him get the first position without content in my opinion. Has anyone encountered something like this, maybe someone can tell me how to see his content if his content on the site is available only to ip addresses Googlebot Smartphone, Googlebot Desktop, Googlebot Image.

this is called cloaking and it's a very effective black hat technique, but I don't know how they do it cause I suck at BH and technology :(

Someone shared the method (or parts of it, I don't remember) a few weeks ago, you can use the "search" button and try to find it and maybe it answers this question.

in my casino industry, people are deleting content on the home page. And i don't how google work but that way worked. The rank restored

If you help me find it I'll tell you what the method of this type of cloaking is, thanks for the info!

What are they doing it for?
Are you sure they're removing content? Maybe they're hiding it very well?

i made sure they removed the homepage content and restored the rankings. i did the same and it worked but not 100% of all sites. Maybe it only works in this google update period.
