Have you ever experimented with such methods? I see a lot of people from other countries doing the same and finding a lot of new results.

Besides just searching by name, you can try creating a new account with location in target country and then add some random people also from target country as friends. After that, go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/discover. Also, when you join a new group, Fb will sometimes show a related groups section, which can also be very useful.
