If it gets implemented the way the developers at Google intend it to (which is seeing a lot of backlash from the internet standards community), it will make scraping difficult to do reliably if not impossible.

The Web Integrity API is basically DRM but for the whole internet. It will allow developers to basically control the entire client.

Are they doing this to cut Chat GPT out of the game? since GPT scrape the web for its training

I can't see it happening, but if it does it will just open up a secondary market for 'Google Integrity-Checked Browsers'
