Okay, I came across this website, and it has just stuck in my mind, from how cool it is.
You can scroll, and the globe scrolls with you, and you can even move the globe too, it’s so cool and smooth.

I think they do something like facebook marketing or something, its not really clear.

But, what are the methods of making a site this beautiful? Eventually I want one like this. What do you even ask for?

What are some downsides of a site this advanced? Actually, when I load the website, it seems broken sometimes. So I think that’s one right away. But, if it loaded perfectly, wow, what a cool site.

Sorry, don't know what you mean. You mean Meta like FB? Or, Meta like metadata?
It's a site that provides fb accounts (I think) but I am not endorsing it whatsoever. It just looks cool and I am curious.

It has poor code and very poor compatibility. For a second there i was in 1999 optimizing META's on a clients flash website.

That site will only get traffic from very targeted sources which will need to be maintained to continue the volume (email, forum spam, shilling etc), and sites like that tend to be temporary.

Yeah. I think if there was some way to make it more compatible, it would be so cool.
And you're right. I have a feeling it is only designed for very specific eyes.

A simple google search shows they have no substance behind their claims, the only substance they have is the quality of their website, which is terrible and only comparable to a scam site (no meta etc, no aim for organic traffic). It looks pretty black and white.

You are totally right. In the context of a company website however, it may be beneficial to look advanced. But, it is meaningless if it doesn't function properly.
