Roaming instead of Proxies?

Does anyone know if I could use a US provider SIM card + plan for example T-Mobile and then use data roaming worldwide and still get an US IP adress so social media apps see me as I would be in the US?

Or will I get an IP adress from the country I‘m currently in? Found different answers on other forums.

Uh, I am pretty sure it is the country you are currently in.
Also intl mobile data is insanely expensive, might not be the best route for you

Let‘s say the carrier tunnels back to the US.
In that case will apps/websites see me as I would be in the US or could there be any leaks like DNS etc.?

In the phone is also usually the provider and then a supplement. For example, Telekom becomes Telekom NL - if you are in the Netherlands, for example.

Could be because Telekom also offers plans for netherland residents so they just connect you to their network there in NL.
T-mobile for example has no service outside the US (I believe)

Haven’t seen such service unfortunately. Besides one on here which has not really good reputation & is overpriced

Yes starting around $150 i guess per month. If pricing around $50-80 it will be good price.

Yes renting a full device with apps and all. You can install , uninstall apps etc just an normal do does.

They rent private device proxies which is exactly same connection as personal hotspot!

The IP addresses are provided by the local ISP, so if you connected to a nearing cellular tower and you are on roaming, they will know that you are at diffrent location.
