GeneratePress most annoying theme so far

Indo agree, that some stuff about GP sucks. But for new blogs, that I need decent looking theme, which Is fast. It is my favorite choice.
But I do get a lot better site speed stats than you do..

I tried the free version of GP, liked it, so upgraded to the pro version via Festinger and soon ditched it. Then switched to Elementor and that slowed my site right down with all the extra plugins I needed. I then switched to Botiga, which isn't as well known but a fantastic theme and I only needed to add Gutentor to get a look that I wanted instead of lots like you would with Elementor. Botiga is aimed at ecommerce sites.

I have been using it since 2020 and it is very fast, but it is a bit complicated to configure.

It's a theme that requires you to find where things are. You have to click elements for you to access the other sections and that's under Appearance I think. It's not easy the first time around. You just have to use it once or twice and you remember where certain places are. I agree, it's not intuitive. But it's fast.

Anyone know how to change this blackground image in generate press from the demo theme? I really can not find it. Thank for your help.

It is a technical theme, and a fantastic one too. But as you say, it may be hard for noobs to fling together a decent site in an hour. It was never meant for noobs that don´t want to spend time learning it.
Is right. Theme not hard to use is just about to learn it, but some people not technical so hard for them to grasp and think it "hard" ))

Go to Generatepress elements and look for that element

Thank you but still can not find the option to change image there.
Click on that image and check the panel on your right, you will see an option called Background where you can input a background image url

the free generatepress themese are good but once you upgrade they kinda suck!
