Stay Away from Contabo

Tried their VPS a year ago, and it was the shittiest VPS after Hostinger; now I bought it once again and made the same mistake; their top package, and it's even worse than back then; anyway, there it is for anyone who wants to buy their VPS. Just stay away from them; they don't care about their customers. Absolute waste of my time

Even fkin wordpress dashboard won't load how slow they are, SSH is slow as well, can't even back up my progress i've did last 2 days, i just broke my headphones as i banged them on floor how annoyed i am

Bro look take a look at the Image I attached it was back at Nov. 2022 where they increased their price @avrg. 9.1% !!

I will be trying IONOS or A2 right now, gotta start installing litespeed web server, cyberpanel, redis server and connecting everything else again, installing wordperss and everything i've set up, gosh

Contabo is fine if you are not running anything serious, their only selling point is that they sell insane configs for small prices, but they of course oversell everything, ram, cpu, storage... so you are maybe getting 8gb RAM for 6E on paper, but in reality god knows how much people are fighting for that same RAM

I've learnt my lesson for second time as @BassTrackerBoats said, i will be trying IONOS now, as they have competitive prices for high resources and i've heard some good things about them

hetzner is also a good alternative one of my friends uses them a lot for hosting few websites
they have very similar pricing compare to contabo might want to check them out

Webspace Package is not VPS. It is web hosting with cPanel just like Name cheap.

hetzner is also a good alternative one of my friends uses them a lot for hosting few websites
they have very similar pricing compare to contabo might want to check them out

By far hetzner beats all the vps provider I ever tried including Microsoft, vultr and digital ocean. The pricing is unbelievable cheap for such a brilliant easy to use service

Pretty strange,
I usually go with Debian, aapanel, OLS server side,
With WP rocket & good theme and I'll end up with pretty fast website

they do it's just labelled as Dedicated and Cloud depending on which type you want
