What are you currently reading?

Im on finishing Blink (by Malcolm Gladwell) and On grand strategy (by John Lewis Gaddis).
Am not recommending nothing yet, but maybe books have great finish ( meaning circling everything with great message)

Also started Titan (by Ron Chernow) way back, but book is so long so i have whole autumn for it lol

Stephen King...I don't like to read those motivational bullshit, guides to be rich created by some arrogant, etc...better spend my time reading some horror

Finishing up on 100 million dollar leads by Alex Hormozi.

Will apply what I've learned & probably read "the millionaire fastlane" since it was recommended to me next.
Nice. How do you describe alex as a salesman. I saw his content push starting of january 2023 and now he is ripping the rewards of it (lots of recognition in his field)
I was always skeptic for marketing gurus reading material (meaning i read gary vees book (not hook hook uppercut, the other one), straight garbage)
Is his book better?

Nice, everybody has different taste. I respect when people publicly make statements about own perspectives

Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds & Shape Our Futures

Currently on The 50th Law by Robert Greene and 50 Cent

I'm reading your post.

I don't read any longer. I download audiobooks now. Psychology 101 from C. Nathan DeWall was great.

Yesssir. Turn shit in sugar gang gang. Fifty makin one of the best authors in the last 100 years following him to the clubs and meetings to have material for awesome book is god tier.
Of roberts books only 33 strategies of war is little better then this.
50th law is very usable for real life situations

listening is taking over reading i think.
Fosho, im just saying that feeling of holding paper in hands is better then doing it digital (fiat vs crypto reference maybe lol haha)

Yes, time is saved in my case. First of all, the book doesn't end up falling on my face because I fell asleep, second, since I do many mechanical/automatic tasks in some repair services I provide, I listen to books while working on those. So instead of saying, what will I work on today, I say, what will I learn today, lol.

About the experience, of course, it depends on each individual. I found out that if the book is read by the author, it is best, because they always put the right emphasis, like in the psychology book I mentioned above. If read by a good actor, it is good too. Definitely avoid audiobooks read by AI.

I download them from a sharing site (not legal). I have a premium account for downloading and once in a while I browse audiobooks, software, games, things for Android, things for WP, Graphics, etc.

This audiobook that I mentioned is very good for understanding people, their intent, and behavior. I guess that it is useful somehow for convincing clients and more.

Psychology 101 Audibook, narrated by the author.

This is larger than 128M, so VirusTotal does not accept it. Anyway, when unzipped, the course consists of 50 sections of one MP3 file per section, hence, 50 MP3 files.

DL (551 MB)
Code:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/kubw28sdfz1orj4/Psy101.zip/file

If this is not allowed, I hope that some moderator deletes it.

Cheers

I'm currently reading "Practicing The Power of Now" and it's a real eye-opener. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to break free from past worries and future anxieties and truly live in the present moment—it's a refreshing mental workout!
