What do you think is best vps hosting?

Which vps hosting is best to quality/price for you?
For me probably namecheap

I've been shopping around a lot but haven't found one that jumped out at me. I've had bluehost and fastcomet. Neither wow me, although I have no specific complaints. I like the FastComet tech guys more than Bluehost.

As i have 20+ servers and always need new ones namecheap is pretty good when it comes to quality/price so yeah.

Been using pq hosting for two months and I am quite happy with it. Since OP recommends namecheap, I will check it out too, as I already buy domains on there anyway.

One should never have their domains in the same account/place as their hosting..
It's pretty much unspoken rule #1

For VPS hosting, I was pretty content with both Digital Ocean & Linode.
Would of stayed with them if it wasn't for Terry from WPX

DigitalOcean if you like setting things up yourself. There's also Vultr.

I see that Namecheap has much more resources for cheaper price than Cloudways.

But if I check reviews there is always better grade for Cloudways. Is it because affiliate comission or really Cloudways is much better?

And, is the Namecheap support good enough for you?

i never have to contact support but when i do they usually answer in 1-10 minutes

Hetzner hands down and more if you are focusing on EU their EU servers are nuts.

I've tested zillions of VPS and now I have a ton of VPS on Hetzner just for their quality/price.

I like them even more than Digital Ocean. For USA, HostHatch

I also have servers on A2, and DO. A2 I find is pretty good too, but more towards the slightly more expansive than normal. Still, good hardware and resources.

I always had contabo on my list to check, but I have read terrible reviews in this forum about this hosting (regarding customer support) so I have refrained so far.

Well i will be using them for my new website so if you want pm me i will share the site with you when it's done and inform you how good they are, i find them appealing since they give out even more resources for cheaper than namecheap

Generally, I like to do the tests within the VPS instance. For example, try to compile the same in two VPS hosts, and check the total time for compilation. Then try to run some pings to the same hosts and check the latency. If you could perform an iperf to another server it would be even better to check this with precission.

I can give you the ssh details when i buy it since I haven't done it before, so we can find out which is better
