The characteristics for the perfect theme for autoblogging alludes me. Themes are more than graphics and SEO. You want your opt-in box and offers in the right locations.
Of course you need a place for your post or page article. And widgets are important for advertisements, Opt-in boxes, navigation and the like.
Some themes make SEO easier. (Eg. Thesis)
Nanoblogger recommends thesis and using a single column design for simplicity sake to help you meld with your market.
I like the output of SiteProfitBot, but it does not output to a wordpress blog. What I like is that is has multiple widget spots for its standard page that allow you to put constantly updating forum feeds, blog feeds, news feeds, article feeds, pictures, and videos. It has header navigation to pages for this above changing content; but not sure if this navigation is necessary or even advisable. A nice thing about the links here is that when a visitor clicks the links it opens up in a grayed out box but keeps you on your site. When the visitor is finished reading the feed it closes that box and your are still on your site.
Then it has a column for ads and navigation.
Of course we need to have ever changing posts from WP Robot similar to the feeds above.
What I would be trying to produce is an authority site, or at least the impression of an authority site for the visitor. I would be trying to keep his attention on the site, and eventually direct him to the offer.
I would think that written posts, many being spun duplicate content from the pages of the site, would be hidden (to real visitors but not hidden to bots) on the main site but with links to keyword rich article pages on the main site; thereby leading the visitor to the offer.
I would want to have an opt-in widget in the header on the right side and also at the bottom.
I wonder if this could be made into a template for wordpress or if there already is one like this?
or
What Theme would facilitate all of this?
Any thoughts?
Thanks for the input.
