2 different gmails with 2 channels in different niches, both are brand new (gmails are old, 2-4 years old). I uploaded 1st(8-12 mins) video to each channel 5-7 days ago, both get 0 impression till now, , videos are well made, with eye catching thumbnails I think.

What have I done wrong? I need your help guys.

I opened a new channel recently and the first few days the video got pretty much 0 impressions.

Its a hand made high quality stop motion animation with lovely thumbnail.
So was surprised like yourself.

I sent the link out to a few people I knew just to get it off zero. Then created a playlist and added the most viral top stop motion animation videos. Including adding it in the list. Then added some more hashtags and longer description.

It's now starting to some views at least.

Optimize your videos with relevant keywords and keep uploading videos that engage your audience.

Only 2 videos are not enough to decide. You have to keep uploading for an year or more to see response.

As a new channel, it takes some time for YouTube to begin recommending your videos. The more consistent you are, the more likely YouTube is to show your videos to people. You can do some shearing on other social media platforms.

Use social media to promote your channel, to move traffic to your channel, if you want to inest a little bit social media ads optional and patience, sometimes take some time to start and having an old account is not always a garantee you will go all good, just continue uploading sometimes first video doesn't do good and later you start seeing traffic.

Here's the stats so far, its kinda depressing

It takes time for new channels. You're not gonna go from 0 to 1K views per video + 1K new followers overnight.

Maybe try copying the hashtags, descriptions, title and thumbnail of popular videos within your niche.

Creators are present in greater numbers than before, so the video supply is larger, making it difficult for videos to get mentions and engagement. Try to post more, use different content, and post at times that suit your viewers' rest hours.

Yeah your problem is the channels are new and you not giving it enough time.. views grow slow over time and it’s not a guarantee

I found a competitor's channel, created on Sep 25th, so far 10 videos uploaded, I checked the video quality, I'm sure mine is better, but so far he got total 13k views, I got 60 views for my 3 videos in total.

His first video got 1.4k views, 0 likes. His latest video uploaded 1 day ago, 750 views till now, with more than 500 likes. 10 hours ago, his subscribers was 400, now he reaches 757.

Channel is new give it some, promote it on different platforms also.

Youtube is testing whether you are a serious content creator or just another account creating a video and giving up

His stats now, with 1.18k subscribers, I'm just wondering how this miracle happens, considering his channel created on 9/26
