Artisteer Help?

Artisteer is very limited in what you can do with it, after making a few themes or templates you will see that you will start to run out of ideas as your so resricted in what you can do with it. I used artisteer and it did pay for itself but I got bord of it very quickly plus the css is really crap - Try using dreamweaver with it and you will that it will cause dreamweaver to be on near melt down

I checked for a coupon for you but the order page has no field for it so I guess it doesn't exist.

It was to the OP as I used it for a while and sold sponsorship when I had a month of being skint, I got very board of it though as its very restricting unless you know the right plugs(wordpress) or know basic php/html.
How did you find it? Have you tried with Dreamweaver at all?

I haven't used it with Dreamweaver although I know how to use it....build my first websites with it and still use it to edit code.
Artisteer is okay...just not impressive.
I use it for 2 things:
I give themes away for free when they optin.
I sell themes as unique for a low price (sometimes with hosting).
For a small extra fee I even deliver a customized one...
The list I build with this has opportunities since they are mostly new in IM (otherwise they would know where to get or buy the serious stuff).
A certain percentage will want to upgrade in the future.
Hosting, premium themes, premium plugins, etc.
Now all of this is just a small part of my business and with a soft like Artisteer I can produce a lot of themes in a hour.
Should I ever expand it I will surely give the program to an outsourcer. Like you said...it's pretty boring work.

How do you guys not like Artisteer? Just hit the "random" or what ever it is button a few dozen times, switch the header & menu layouts to what you want and bam! Custom theme in less than 5 minutes.
Too bad it's on the DNS cuz I'd post the pirated version of it (of course, it wouldn't work for OSX).

Like I said...it gives me a lot of "unique" themes in a hour.
I didn't say I don't like it...it serves it purpose for what I want from it.
For people without coding expertise it's a fantastic tool to play around with.
And as far as I know there's nothing else on the market like it.
Just don't expect themes like the well-known premium themes with all their "gadgets".

Artisteer seems to be the perfect autoblog creation tool: It is fast, unique (but not TOO unique), and professional. I am trying to build a network of quality autoblogs that stay under the radar. I think it is the right tool...

If you want the theme to be part of your setup to stay under the radar you better use popular free themes.
They are used by 1000s.
Use a different theme for every autoblog.
And "staying under the radar" here means not leaving footprints so G can link all your domains and deindex them in bulk.

Artisteer is very lame..Tottaly not good for monetization from your blog (i don't know if you can sell the actual theme,i'm speaking about ads on it) and his stylesheet reminds blogs of 90's!Totally waste of money for my opinion.

I have private Whois on most of my domains.
There are views on this as being a bad sign in the eyes of Google.
Up till now I haven't noticed any bad influence from having your Whois private.
