hey guys. It s a lot of time I have been trying to understand about backlinks, but there are a lot of things that I did not really understand. Here all of those:

1) do they really help with SERP? I mean, let's imagine there is a search with low competition. My url is 10th result. If I work a lot on backlinks, can I rank 1st, 2nd??

2) backlink need to direct to the specific page? or they will help the whole site?

3) probably most important and difficult question... which are the really working backlink kind of? I mean, most of them are completely useless (********/nofollow, website spam or with low DA...., same niche, same language etc)

Hello Tommy: Good questions.

1) do they really help with SERP? I mean, let's imagine there is a search with low competition. My url is 10th result. If I work a lot on backlinks, can I rank 1st, 2nd??
- Yes, you can.

2) backlink need to direct to the specific page? or they will help the whole site?
- Its up to you. Where you wanna your prospects land on - Home Page or Respective Landing (Service) Page. Yes that will your website to gain authority (not the only that page).

3) probably most important and difficult question... which are the really working backlink kind of? I mean, most of them are completely useless (********/nofollow, website spam or with low DA...., same niche, same language etc)
- You take any website in the world and you will see that having all sorts of backlinks - low/high DA, Low/high spam score websites, do follow - no follow backlinks, same/different niche, same/different languages and so on. That helps a website maintaining/balancing backlinks ratio in various aspects and diversification. If there are lot of bad links, you will need to disavow them time to time thats what all BIG website do, I believe.

Hope that helps.

Good luck.
Steve

Without backlink, most of the websites don't and cannot guarantee great SERP.

For a low competition keyword I think 3-4 solid authority backlinks which are niche-relevant should help you get to the top 3 positions.

Next, irrespective of the pages in the website that receive those backlinks your website will stand to be benefitted.

Finding the most powerful backlinks will require a lot of research, and you must know what to look out for in website metrics or you need to consult someone that does.

Backlinks are important for your website. First priority should be Homepage. But getting a good backlinks is important. Also a mix of backlinks is beneficial.
Also, don't build too much backlinks in a short time.

Yes, The Backlinks really help to improve your SERP movement, But quality backlinks are very important.

Concentrate on selecting the Conversation long tail keywords at the same time in the low competition.

1. In a low competition niche, a solid backlink profile can push your site from the 10th to the top spots. Just ensure they're quality links not spammy.

2. If you're aiming to rank a specific page getting backlinks to that page is essential. However, strong domain authority does provide a bit of "SEO juice" to all pages.

3. You hit the nail on the head. Not all backlinks are equal. Avoid nofollow unless they bring solid referral traffic. High DA sites, relevance, and contextual links are your best friends.
