faisalkhhan I'm afraid I don’t get what you mean with ‘what is its price’.
Anyway, I’ve done some research about what’s the best Community Plugin for my needs. Actually, I found many of them, and I've narrowed them down to these plugins.
Ultimate Members - This is the first plugin that comes up at the WordPress directory here https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/users/.
The very first thing that concerned me about Ultimate Members was the price. It looks like I have to spend almost $200 dollars to get it working with all those amazing features.
The second thing is that many of the complaints are about the high use of the server resources. I am planning to use Google VM and I would like to offer my visitors a fast experience when navigating through my website. But, if the plugin’s core is too heavy it will impact the monthly cost of the Google Cloud VM.
Last but not least is the vulnerability reported on hostinger and other hosting providers. It looks like the updates fixed the vulnerability issues but I didn’t get a reply from the support team.
Actually, the plugin looks excellent but.. I would need to think about it a little bit more.
https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/ - I got a reply from the support guy. They said that this is a very complex plugin and I would need some skills to achieve what I’m looking for. It has tons of good reviews, but.. I’m not finding it easy to set up. $247 per year.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/users-control/ - This is a new plugin, what I liked about it is the User’s profile and how they display the user's posts and photo gallery, and the payment methods such as PayPal and Stripe. Also, it looks like it offers recurring payments, which is exactly what I need. I can charge my users monthly to get access to some particular posts.
The annual price for this plugin is acceptable for the Basic Version, $59 looks like a fair price for a plugin which will need support and updates.
Honestly, I don’t know why the price difference is so wide. On one hand we have an expensive plugin like Ultimate Members and on the other hand we have Users Control which costs $59.
If I go with the cheapest plugin am I going to get what I paid for? If I go with the Ultimate Members plugin does it means I'm going to get a better support?
So.. what’s the normal price for a membership plugin?
I just would like to choose a safe plugin which a decent support.
