Why Do So Many People Get Banned On This Site?

A lot are banned lately because their accounts were hacked. They loaded virusinfested warez from downloadarea before the threads were deleted. Then their accounts were hacked and used to post other warez with viruses. So they were banned...
Others sell things in threads that arent bst-threads and so on. You have many chances to get kicked...

I am fresh off mine - hammered for helping some noobs with a worthless FB script that apparently wasn't supposed to be shared. Never again will I help like that. I had to wash Harro's Bentley to get reinstated.

If their accounts were hacked then why were they banned? Wouldn't just changing the password make more sense? Afterall them getting hacked isn't their fault. Perhaps I misunderstood.

Bc there's too many ppl on here thinking outside the box and

Wow, virus taking their info? People with that kind of stuff could shut you out of business for a while. I formatted my hard drive a few days ago after testing some auto blogging software. I assumed I was being overly paranoid. It was legit from the maker but still. You never know.

I got banned months ago for simply disagreeing about the silly decision to not allow '2012' discussions here in the generally off-topic, LOUNGE section of the board. The odd thing is I had only made 2-3 posts on the issue (in threads others had started), and had never been banned from any message board or group before (a few of which I have moderated). You can see the discussion in the stickied thread, and I stand by my comments. Go figure.

The accounts posted warez so the mods had to ban them to prevent this. Off course they arent guilty (but they could have scanned it probably again).
Harro spoke in a thread about this and said that the moderators will contact these members and if they prove that their pc is clean they get their account back.
But I dont know a member whos account was reinstated. Sycthos for example was a reputable member and gave up after a month where he tried without success to reach an admin... So he is gone now. Others made a new account.
For me thats the biggest downside of BHW at the moment.

Most of this is not true. My account was banned for no reason by the mods previously. I had great itrader, all postive info and BOOM

This forum has been taking a downturn since the changed were made about a month ago. Many of the good members are leaving and the people here have become more and more rude. Ask a question and you are told you are stupid.
I keep coming back hoping that something will change but it seems to be getting worse and worse.

because they dont read the rules. this is a pointless thread i believe. i say you need to do some more reading or working.

I dont have a bently you must have been on drugs that was my balls you washed.
People are getting banned for many reasons ive been off about a month.
1) spamming affiliate links in the wrong sections
2) just general scamming, yes OLD members Scam too even people with old stickied threads and executive vips have scammed too
3) there was a problem recently where people downloaded stuff that stole passwords which i have explained if they contact us we will reinstate they are not deleted for life
4) a lot of people are just generally replying things like "thanks" or "lol" and building post counts and ....
Just millions of other reasons, we are not Digitalpoint we dont tollerate anything thats lacking quality. If your here trying to sell stuff dont skip our rules and try and bypass them and sell anyway we review things to keep our users protected against scams. Yet 10001 of you still BUY anyway then wonder why you get scammed then blame us.
And as for the 2012 issue yes it was in the lounge but at the time our rules stated we did not want any conspiracy theories and such i believe theres a sticky by oldenstylehats before you wrote about 2012 three times im sure, and if you where able to post you agreed to our rules at the time.
We all moderate for free. And we get thousands of pms daily about scammers and other things, we ban for reasons that we need to and occasionally get it wrong.
Bans are never permanent and can always be disputed if you contact us in a civilized manor.
Hope that explains it all. There might be a lot of banned users here. But would you want scammers and people who break rules here? im sure if you wanted we would leave all the scammers here if that was what you all wanted.

Breaking Rules: The members who are not follow the rules of the particular forum they will be banned from forum. Some forums are very strict and moderators will warn you once before banning. If you break the rules again then you are banned from forum.
Here are some of the rules that people break more often
1) Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed.
2) Rudeness in postings, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts
Behavior: Most of bans are also because of the bad manners and general bad behavior of the members in the site. Like posting your day to day struggles, marital problems, friendship problems, co-worker problems, family problems or financial problems and using vulgar language in the posts lead to banned you from site.

Stupidity
On the part of the banned, or the banner? I know in my case I had not broken the rules, just expressed disagreement with a retroactive rule change.
