I Think Xrumer Might Be Complete BullS!*T

I realise this is a bit provocative but I believe it to be a valid question today just after a Google PR update...

I own a licensed copy of Xrumer and I have kind of stopped using it in the last month or so because I had a suspicion is was doing more damage than good.

I have tried many methods and ultimately only recently felt safe doing profiles due to the nagging doubt that has been growing now for six months or so.

Basically I have generated loads of "safe" backlinks with Xrumer over time by careful posting using covert techniques and still I have seen many domains lose PR and even some banned from the big G.

When I say "careful" I don't believe you could use Xrumer any less provocatively than I have...

So long story short I hve been doing other things I felt were safer... SB, BMD, RSS, Angela & Paul, etc...

PROOF MY FEARS ARE REAL ????

Here's the thing that is making me make this post:

Today I found an old BHW post I had commented on a while back but thought no more of it.

The post was about xrumerunleashed.com (which I believe is something belonging to some members here so it would be good to hear what they say to this post) a video course by some Xrumer "gurus" about getting the most out of Xrumer...

So I was sitting thinking that maybe I just got my Xrumer campaigns wrong and that maybe I should invest in this course...

Then it came to me clearly that if these guys really knew how to get the most out of Xrumer then their domain should rank highly right ?

So I looked up http://www.xrumerunleashed.com and saw it has a PR 4 which is not too shabby...

THEN

I did a backlink lookup on Yahoo...

They only have 256 backlinks !!!

Not so many and that is strange considering that Xrumer can generate gazillions in no time at all if unleashed in anger!
Most of the links they do have are true Xrumer footprint links in forums (very easy to recognise if you know Xrumer and that could be a clue!) and when I went to check them most of them are actually deleted...

The fact is though that the ones that are still live all have the same anchor text: "Blackhat SEO" as you can see in this typical example:

So I cracked up MS and SEO Elite to check it out further...

Long story short is they rank nowhere even with their PR4!!!

When I say "nowhere" I mean NOWHERE... not in the top 1,000 results! Zero...Zilch... NADA!

Google still has them in the index (site:xrumerunleashed.com) but only with 2 pages which is a bit weird if they are penalizing the site...

There are only 25 links in Google (link:xrumerunleashed.com) and most of those from ******** (which I suspect is also their domain).

Anyway you see my point?

Here are two Xrumer "gurus" who obviously have blasted their site using their tool of choice and yet they rank nowhere for their preferred key phrase!

I am inclined to believe my "gut feeeling" and that says Xrumer doesn't work anymore and that it is worse than that and it actually has a negative effect on your sites when used

I'd love for someone to prove my fear wrong ?

Anybody got anything to add that might shed more light on this?

How can 2 experts in Xrumer use NOT rank for their preferred Key Phrase IF Xrumer actually does what it says on the tin ?

Big can of worms is now open.... "INCOMING" !!!

We make you think that they blaster their site? If you think XRumer does not work you are highly mistaken. I will say that for those trying to get thousands or hundreds of thousands of backlink you are using the wrong tactic.

You should be going for high PR backlinks. Any monkey can blast to a "dead" domain. No point doing that if it's not going to bring you traffic or get your ranked good.

It's not hard to get ranked in the SERP's (unless we are taking about some generic keyword like lawyer or school loans).

Stop just running linklist projects in XRumer and think outside the box.

The key they used "Blackhat SEO" if you run it through MS for example you get in number 10 slot http://www.ajazi.com/black-hat-seo.cfm who have PR of 3c and only 24 BLPs (back links to the page)... Can't they beat that with Xrumer if the hype is true?

Well I Am On The First Page For 7+ Keywords,And On Page 2 For The Most Competitive Of My Keywords In A Highly Competitive Niche.Really Only From Xrumer...It's Been 4weeks And Some Change Since The Blast.I Had 86 Links When I Ordered The Blast,Now I'm Over 3500! So I Would Have To Say That Xrumer Works Whether Used Agressively Or Passively.As With Any Software Especially One As Powerful As Xrumer,You Have To Have A Strategy...And Yes You May Get Banned Or At Least Sandboxed but It Comes With The Territory.I don't Think It's Fair To Blame The Software When It Has Clearly Helped So Many People! You Win Some Ypu Loose Some In This Line Of Work. Just My 2cents:147:

No offense taken but you are sadly mistaken if you think I need people to buy my service. I use XRumer for my own projects and they do very good (sometimes with trials and errors). You will notice that I do not post my XRumer Services here on this forum or any other forum as that is not my goal (getting a few orders from my signature is just icing on the cake).

It would depend on a few factors. The age of their domain for one. I'm not sure what the competition for that keyword is but I kill on micro niches.

Maybe I'll start a campaign for Blackhat SEO to see my results.

Google isn't that stupid though. They have the best programmers out there. They just don't count irrelevant links.

I must ask, what is your experience with using XRumer? I cannot speak for the ****** forums and I don't want to brag but I'm kick ass with XRumer due to the amount of time I have spent with it (some of that time beating my head against the wall).

I've had it for about 18 months now and have tried posting, posting with the color code to try hide links, not posting at all but just profile creating and thrn some profiles with posts but no links.

When I post I have a massive rotation of Urls,names,hobbies,places,etc using lots of random to avoid footprints and I post only to PR1+ sites.

All in all I can see some small successes sometimes but on the whole I could have achieved more through outsourcing or even doing it manually myself.

Many of my domains had PR and lost it or they got de-indexed completely... can't say it was Xrumer at fault but it is a contender 4 sure...

So how about helping a hard working girl out and letting me in in on a few juicy secrets?

Hi CashStar would you mind doing a linkdomain lookup on yahoo for your domain and see if all your backlinks are coming from forums only as if you only promoted with an XR blast then it would help to know that?

When you do a link search like that you must put a space between link and your site for it to show more accurately like this

I haven't purchased xrumer but Ive tried some xrumer services here and to be exact, I don't really like the results as its not really aim to what did the guy said in the offer. Its not even 25% of the right amount. Im really disappointed.

Yeah yeah, true: the old competitor argument. I heard it so often and partly it might be true - partly. Other people tell you from being sandboxed when putting too many links and report not being in the index any more. Somehow I feel that most of those reports are from people who get the usual initial boost and then moan.. other domains with many more backlinks, domain age, etc are quickly forgotten in this consideration.

I think if you overdo it and put 10k backlinks daily you might get your slap - when and only when your site is new and almost w/o backlinks. For established sites (digg etc), those amount of backlinks does not hurt. On the other hand, backlinks are found slowly/are deeply hidden so the typical XR user does not receive so many daily which are taken into account by SEs. And many of the backlinks are only existent up to the next mod-review.

The problem is not XRumer not working but the evolution of web-2.0 software and the users: Every site has some spam-protection included (graphical captcha, text captcha, email-activation) and the worst: moderation. No more helpless cries and horrified mods... "I receive so much spam, what can I do?".

From the many posts you make, how many will survive? When you spam 100k sites, you will find some forgotten ones and receive some backlinks. What happens then? Just nothing, because even the original Google algorithm (-> wikipedia) takes the number of outgoing backlinks into account. When you create your own linkslist, you might find some unspammed sites... good luck.

I had no success with pure-spam, this is just a waste of resources - maybe different if you feel lucky making some bucks/day with XRumer 24/7 and can then report here in BHW "... am using XRumer with great success". Whenever I started a dumb spam campaign, I wasted time.

If you want to be succesful, try q/a campaigns, generic blog- and forumposts, the "I want to introduce myself" method, maybe combined with the latter or: the anti-spam system, something which I personally did not have checked out so far.

No Xrumer Is Able To Post To Blog,Forums ,Guestbooks etc.It Is Not Just A Forum Poster.You Must Compile A Better List Of URL's To Post To.If Your Only Posting To Forums With Xrumer Your Shooting Yourself In The Foot.LOL I Don't Even Have Xrumer,But I'm Sure I Could Do Pretty Good With It.I Did My Research Before Even Buying A Blast So I Knew What I Wanted.Search This Forum For Xrumer Tips And Tricks There's Tons Of Info.Until You Get The Hang Of It Just Buy Blasts So You Will See Progress And Not Harm Your Site While Your Learning.You Should Make A Site Just To Practice On.

You're ridiculously ignorant if your conclusion that xrumer is ineffective is drawn off the facts that you just listed.

The program xrumer unleashed is first of very very new

and second they have absolutely no reason to rank that page, most of their promotion has been by way of word through their own forum ******

I have seen some amazing results from using xrumer. Backlinks are backlinks. But you have to know what you're doing if you want to see results. You have to build them in the right places.

You're probably better off just giving your license to someone who can actually figure out how to use the tool correctly instead of you wasting your time using dated linklists and wasting people's time with threads like this.
