Trying to sell a site

Hi guys.

I've filled in all the details to sell a site on flippa and payed the listing fee.

It is now requesting i verify my ownership of the site by uploading a text file from flippa to my root directory.

My problem is it is an affiliate site and can only edit the layout of the site etc... and it has no root directory.

I have seen loads of affiliate sites that are earning good money being sold on flippa, so how do i do this?

They've just added some new options for verification, can't remember exactly what they are, but I'm pretty sure you can add a code in the meta tags?

If not, you would have to buy a domain which forwards to your affiliate site and upload the file there.
