most of the guest post lists has just huge traffics from USA, ETc... they all have 300~500 traffics or none in korea region.

is this gonna affect a lot deprievating value of guest posting?

If they are topically relevant then yes, but if I were you I would also look for local links since they will be the most relevant but not the easiest to come by. It's best you reach out to a local agency and see what they can do for you.

SEO is snake oil, most are scammers. Is your website in the korean language? also, what domain extension are you using. Is it .com/.net or country specific TLD?

the best way to move forward would be to look your target keywords and analyze the link profile for the top 5 results. See what they are doing, and then do it better. Easier said than done, but you will then have the actual blueprint in front of you that is already working. It eliminates the guess work

Korean links are generally hard to come by. There aren't many Korean blogs run by ordinary folks that are not big major publications.

But what I'd recommend is you search popular forums and discussion boards.

Double-check if they are PBN websites! Then try to create a similar network with Korean language Content, if those are Outreach websites, then try to reach out to them and secure the same backlinks. If your competitor's using Web2.0s then you can also do the same but mostly in your market, those Web2.0s are not the reason why they are Ranking!

The best guest posts you can get have two elements: (Korean traffic + Niche relevancy)

But as someone above me rightly pointed out, it's hard to get any decent Korean websites in your niche as there aren't many small businesses/ solopreneurs running such sites.

What I suggest: Get a MIX of both the two elements. I.e. get some links from English traffic websites in your niche (to fulfill the semantic relevancy), as well as some links from local Korean websites (to fulfill geometric relevancy).

On my opinion, if the guest post websites have no traffic from the Korean region, it could have a big impact on the value of guest posting for a Korean-focused SERP, as relevance and local authority are important factors in SEO.

In my experience, as long as the link text and the surrounding text match your landing page language, it is fine to get backlinks from other websites in other languages. I worked for a Korean website long back and this strategy worked for me. You can use Korean text inside other language content in the form of a quote.

If your site is in Korean language you will need links in Korean language and Korean traffic.

Creating links from US sites is not so relevant and i doubt it will help
