Only getting Russian traffic

It goes through the IP. no one cares about the Sim itself.
So if your location is Russia... than its done :)
My location isn't in Russia. I am 200km away from the border. I don't have Russian IP.

How would I setup everything?

Do a reset on the Iphone and then get proxy and then download tiktok? Or how would you recommend doing it?
I will recommend buying a good new proxy then try with a new phone

I don't have a russian IP. I am 200km from russian border though.

What should I be doing next?
You said you have “your country ip” and not us ip because when you turned on vpn, now its usa.
No, you need to have proxy straight away, not vpn. Tiktok can see your ip, of course

Small chance that you're just randomly getting more Russian audience and it just snowballs to that audience the more it accumulates. Probably proximity plays a part there, specially if you're location is right next to Russia, I can see that happening. Still very odd of course.

Never use VPN.

Use an Antidetect Browser like Multilogin and a 4G/5G mobile Proxy Server. Push your Content with USA traffic from a SMM Panel. The Algorhytma will think that your Contect is good for USA people, it will recommend your Videos to them, but your Content, Title, Description, Tags have to be in english.

The phone number you enter does not determine who the algorithm plays your videos to.

Thanks a lot.

Can you recommend any 4g Proxy Server providers?

I've been receiving Russian traffic on all four of my different phones. I'm using a US SIM card without a VPN on two devices, and on one iPhone, I'm using an eSIM also without a VPN.

I'm puzzled by this situation. Despite living right next to Russia, I would expect that using a US SIM card should prevent this.

Interestingly, when I changed my niche, I started getting more USA traffic—around 80% from the USA and 20% from Russia.

It's quite strange that simply changing my niche led to an influx of USA traffic. I wonder what the reason behind this could be?
Did you find a solution to this?

I'm currently going through the same thing too. I used a lycamobile US Sim Card, seeing US videos on my FYP but my videos are filled with viewers with russian names.

You need to use quality proxies USA, vpn is not always good

Are proxies really a must? I’ve read comments of people saying all they need is a US SIM card.
I don't think a SIM card alone is enough.
The most important thing is the ip of the right country.

How do you install TikTok app on your phone? Via PlayMarket/AppStore or .apk?
If apk, I think I know what is the problem. To make an apk file, people take existing app and zip it (or something else) to a file. Maybe person, who made this file, was from Russia/Ukraine, and the app that he zipped was already registered and targeted to russian audience. Then he just post it to some site with apk's of mobile apps.
You can download and install this file from everywhere and with IP of every country, but neccesaryy app will be targeted to Russia already from the box.
