First time setting up a campaign with about 60 URLs with media traffic.

Set it up last night, target is the US. Was expecting good traffic when i woke up, and i found only 1 HIT! Just 1!! ahhh.

The URLs are from the first 3 pages of search results for a few keywords that are supposed to get around 80k hits a day all up. Some you tube URLs and other URLs from other places are thrown in there also.

I know its spring break in the US and its also coming up to Easter time.

Could this be the reason for the no traffic on PPV media traffic?

I haven't been around long enough to notice any drop in traffic around this time of year, but because its Easter and not Christmas or the start of the year when people are rushing to buy shit. I guess it makes scene.

Anyone else getting similar results?

And obviously I am not targeting Easter related stuff! lol

BUMP!

I know there's people out there who can answer this and provide some input :)

Its not like im targeting totally unrelated stuff to what the user base on media traffic is into, even then, i still hear about people getting traffic to offers like weight loss ect, stuff targeted to the stay at home mums.

So WTF?

Why no traffic!

Maybe you need to bid higher? I haven't done any PPV though so don't take my word for it.

You have to keep in mind that the networks you are getting traffic from may not have an audience in that niche you are trying to promote. Their traffic is dependent on their software/websites that they generate traffic from.

Without any knowledge of your keywords I can guess that maybe Spring Break in America could be the cause of your problems. But it's probably due to your choice in keywords or URLs.

Media traffic doesn't have much traffic and for me it didn't convert well. If you want a lot of traffic you should join lead impact or traffic vance.

Yer im thinking about going into Traffic Vance pretty soon actually. Funded media traffic with $300 just to get my feet wet in this stuff, but so far Ive got stuff all traffic. So maybe its time already to put in the 1k deposit into Traffic Vance.

But i still think i should test out Media Traffic a little more tho. Got some more URLs lined up. And i think Easter and spring break is a big factor in the low traffic.

So Media Traffic = Vomba

Traffic Vance = Game Vance

Lead Impact = ?????

maybe you should bid more urls or higher your bids .there are lot of reasons.just test.

In most cases if you're not the high bidder you won't get much traffic. It doesn't mean the traffic isn't there, it just means it is going to someone else. ;)

Lead impact has a tool bar called "hotbar".

I have the same trouble...I have a lot of URL with the highest bid, but still low traffic.

You may want to consider just matching the competing highest bidder and share the traffic unless you want to start a potential bidding war. You'll both lose but your PPV/CPV network will win (Nash's game theory?).
