I'm looking for a site/software that can accurately check backlinks to sites, not backlink watch or yahoo site explorer

Most keyword tools rely on YSE or Google for data, but MS also lets you track your results over time, compare your stats to your competitors, etc. How do you know you aren't getting an accurate backlink count, give or take a few of course?

You can try Majestic SEO or Linkscape from Seomoz. Totally different results from YSE

Yeah Majestic SEO gives you data on all backlinks, 1000, 100k, 500k as much as the competitor has. Other tools are limited in vol, like YSE
