Buyer Beware

This guy commented on my WTH thread where I had provided all the details. I had listed the rate as well as the number of words required and everything. We started chatting on skype and I went through everything. After spending an hour of my time, this guy says "I charge $50 an hour"

I'm like everything was already my post did you not read before you reached out to me via DM? The guy is spamming the WTH section without reading what the customer wants.

In general I do not recommend working with writers who lack attention to detail and have time to waste. I spent about an hour explaining things and wasting my time assuming he had already read my thread.

my .02 I would be weary of working with a writer who does not pay attention to the most basic requirements and gets engaged in conversations for over an hour. It just tells me that he does not value his own time and is quick to waste mine (and yours too)

Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with @coltonc

Good luck!

A simple look at this user's profile will show how they communicate with people.

I reached out to the poster seeking more information on the work needed. Once described, it was determined that the user was seeking in-depth buyer guides, to which I responded that I was willing to try one article first at the rate he proposed to see how time-consuming it would be. No work was rejected, and instead, the user decided to complain that I had wasted his time, when I could say the same as I underwent his whole "training".

Time waster and useless review by someone that I never even began work with.

You're lying, you said $50 an hour yourself. There is absolutely no way for a writer to write 3000 words of good content in 1.5 hours unless you already know the niche really well which is not the case 99% of the time for agencies accepting orders. I rest my case.
