What do you call a "twist"?

I have seen several trips where they talk about a simple method but with their own twist, and the question is the same, what are they referring to?

I understand that it is to apply in a different way an idea which we always have in mind. but I feel that it is very complicated to think about how to get out of the box, I mean, would doing that give you more or less results? For my mind it is very difficult to think about how to give a twist to... make money by optimizing google tabs for example.

I would like to know your opinion and with a very simple exercise that is not that I would apply it because I in itself earn very good money.

GIVE YOUR OPINION AND HOW WOULD YOU TWIST IT IF YOU STARTED EARNING MONEY WITH A YOUTUBE CHANNEL (for example)

Maybe a method involves targeting USA google searches, you might try the method with foreign keywords or foreign content

Maybe a method might target a certain social media niche, you could apply the same strategy to a different niche or different platform.

No one can give you a brain, just test things out

Basically, applying a twist can be the smallest change you can apply to the method. It's important because it slows the saturation rate and increases your chances of making it work.

If you started making money with a YT channel, you can add a patreon, build a list, sell merch, paid promotions, there are really a lot of options.

Now I understand, thank you, I think that the truth of so many things that I know and can be done, I thought it was like something more specific or detailed.

It would depend
It could be using the "method" as a foundation and build something using that very idea on another platform.
Or it could be as simply as subbing x with y and make slight changes here and there.

Basically.
a method is like your friend's homework.
Before you hand it in, make modifications to suit you and still making it work. (for the better usually)

You're stuck in a loop of over planning.

Most methods shared are meant to give you an idea for how someone did something (generated traffic, sold something, earned some mentions, etc...). Nothing more.

Change a small thing in the method, make it fit something you're already doing, niche you're familiar with, combine it with another method.. anything really.

You are over thinking simple things and it makes you plan instead of doing.

I make good money on reddit, but if it's like the examples you give, if I have several twists in mind, what happens is that I thought it was to recreate "the model / method" completely.

This takes the point out of sharing the method.
Sometimes reading a method will inspire you to come up with a whole new one, but this is more of a new method rather than just a twist.
