How to create a course/pdf to sell?

No i had to figure out most of it on my own, i share some secrets here as well and methods, but are you going to share something that took you months/years of work to figure out to just anybody just like that? I am trying to help but neither do i have time nor will to tell out secrets out like that, i can point him to right directions that would still take him days to find out by researching.

He's obviously going to put his "secrets" in an ebook and sell for $50. Nothing wrong with it, just saying.

Exactly! It is not wrong to keep your secretes but IT IS wrong not to help somebody if you know how. Also, help in this case is technical in nature (how-to create ebook and how process payments)

People spend money on phones, clubs, useless activities and are fine but when you sell knowledge then you're flamed.

That's what i offered him and more than that anyway, but I wasn't going to show him the ways i advertise my books or some other stuff.

My time is money and if i can help somebody in 5-10 minutes I'll do it for free.

Create an book about how you got to the point where you re at now on tiktok and instagram, it will sell well. For payment methods, where to sell etc you can dm me on discord/tg i will help you as much as i can for free without giving out secrets.

@jenniferlawrance OP was about how to create eBook and how to sell it and @sscaz offered his own time to help OP to achieve it. I don't get it how helping someone with instructions on how to create eBook and setup shop by someone who already did it many times will disclose money earning methods? This is technical help and not spoon-feeding as OP clearly have some idea on book but probably lacks knowledge on publishing tools and payment gateway setup.

I would do it, but Microsoft Bard have better writing and articulation skills than me. There are few exceptions when it comes to writing in my case: coding, various shells from linux, powershell to bunch of networking devices (cisco, juniper, huawei, ericsson, etc). TBH all my ideas and methods are bunch of post-it notes scattered all over the office/room and some strange wiring inside my head. The funniest thing is that this worked for me and will always work.

Back on the teaching/providing help- Few years ago, when my daughter was in her first grade i tried to teach her basic calculus like 1+3 and lost if after two days despite the fact that i am one of the best in that field in entire surrounding. Next day i hired retired teacher from my neighborhood to give her classes.

Bottom point: There is no person who knows everything, there is no person able to learn everything and not everyone has ability to teach somebody else something.

I sell my methods only if i moved from them, for example i almost stopped doing anything with youtube (I only post shorts), hence when i sold all my channels i decided to create the ebook with all my knowledge about it and move onto the other projects that i have in mind to get to 50k$ a month till end of the year, then till end of the 2024 to try and get to 100k a month which will make me a millionaire. Hence why not sell it? And even so now that i know just how powerful e-book/courses selling is and since i am quite good at explaining even the hardest stuff why not sell out my knowledge/information that I don't need even if it's high quality. Even if i come back to youtube it can't be saturated and my methods that i show can't be fixed anyway

Since you have already sold all your methods and many people know these methods even if you return to YouTube maybe you will not earn as much as before

Haven't sold all of my knowledge don't worry, my stuff usually can't get saturated as i am probably most sceptic and scared person when it comes to saturation/looking into future, and if something can then i first 100% calculate if i will ever do that in future

What secrets are there to share that you're talking about ? OP , just check "Motivation" shorts on youtube, see the pinned comments of each videos, follow the sales funnel, you'll get ideas for sure.

Yes, its always good to follow the flow of whats there already, as people have come to expect that, so if you do something new, and it's not too different, people will just pick you up and use you unconsciously as part of the niche.

Reveal your strategy in detail in TikToks and leave a suspense at the end of the video to force viewers to purchase your PDF containing the complete instructions.
It might work because I saw this on FYP and I frequently watched videos of this nature when I first started out on my IM journey.
