How to bulk add text to images?

I have 100's of captions and 100's of photos and I want to bulk add the 1 x caption to 1 x photo for 100's of photos/captions. Anyone know of any software that can do this for me?

I Google'd but couldn't find anything that allows me to select 100 photos and use a CSV file to add the text in bulk (randomly or any other way).

There must be a tool that you use that does this easily?

For random captions, a small python script or photoshop action can auto-pick captions and apply them to images.
