Hello BHW, I'm a new user here and I don't know too much about SEO, I did read a lot of posts here and I understood a little bit about backlinks and everything else, my question is: How the local websites here have 30+ DA and PA in MozBar without any backlinks? I want to overcome those websites but they even have any backlink, how should I do the same? Sorry to bother you with that kind of question, but I spent days reading how I'm supposed to build my DA and those websites doesn't have anything that I was trying to do. They are all on the first page btw, and even on "normal" keyword difficult, how should I boost my position like they do without using all the stuff that I heard about backlinks and everything else?

Well, something is really fishy there. This is probably the first time I am seeing sites with such metrics and with zero backlinks.

The mozbar data may not be right.
This makes sense is if these are internal pages on a website with lots of links somewhere else and there's a lot of authority passed through internal links. That happens a lot with directory sites where parts of the website have a lot of backlinks (pages with substantive content). If it's a big service company with lots of locations or franchises, it's possible to rank individual location pages that have no external links but are well optimized and gain authority from internal links.

Without seeing the URL's or sites it is hard to say why though my guess at this stage is you are looking at inner page results, for example www.xyz.com/contact us that page has no links and is why it shows no links on the moz toolbar, however the domain home page and other inner pages will have many links to them which is why the DA is so high. Only way to get DA that high is by having inbound links to the domain. But what you are showing looks like inner pages with no links to that actual page.
Example of this is here, that specific Amazon page has got no links as shown on the moz tool bar stats:
However when you actually go to there home page, they have over 26million links just to their home page:

Don't solely rely on MozBar. Sometimes these tools can miss backlinks. They might have local citations or NAP (Name, Address, Phone) mentions that boost local SEO, which aren't always counted as "traditional" backlinks. If they genuinely lack backlinks and are still ranking, it might be because of tight on-page SEO.
