Eh sorry guys, I am sure this has been discussed many times...But, I wasn't really sure how to search for it, so I thought I would just make a new thread...

Can somebody please comment or point me to a thread that discusses the dangers of certain forms of blackhatting, grayhatting, etc.? Basically, what are the most dangerous methods that should be only used by experts? What are some basic precautions? I am new to this, and don't mind getting banned from say, Facebook, if I get caught, but I am graduating this spring with an International Business degree--I'm not tryna go jail for this shit! I just want to buy some time while I build a non-profit business that I started...

So, what's good? So far I am only into autoblogs, article writing, and maybe mass mailing...

You won't go to jail unless your doing fraud, which you won't because from the sounds of it, you don't know much about internet marketing. You'll be fine, if you think it's illegal, it probably is somehow.

The mass mailing is one that can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. 10 years ago you could just about spam all you want, but since then they have made many laws. Depending on where you are at you can get very large fines, and possibly even some jail time. You probably aren't scaled enough to get jail, but a big fine could really hurt, so be sure your bulk mailings are in compliance with the spam laws.
