I read a few threads on here that said:

"
hi, from what i know, you don't even need to activate the SIM card, you just have to put it in your phone (1 sim only) and TikTok should recognize it as an American sim card. keep me updated because im waiting for my USA SIM aswell.."

"Little update, put the simcard into my phone and it worked without having a connection, just normal wifi"

So I just wanted to know whether it true, as my title says:

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Not truth, for some people it's working but not forever. Soon Tiktok will start to shadowban, especialy risky niches like adult.
So use it until you are getting views, but if you get stuck on 200-700 and below 1000, it means you need to change something with the connection after reseting phone to factory.

Half true, I'd say. While not strictly required to be activated, you might want to have it anyway to avoid all the grief TikTok might subject you to without.

Sim cards are cheap, the bigger issue is the proxy. Some ppl say only 4G/5G works.

Yes, it doesn't have to be activated. I've been doing it this way for almost a year. Any sim works

Guys, I have an iPhone / US simcard / 5G proxy (soon) - Am I right in thinking this is enough?

When I order the 5G proxy and select a specific US city, I will update the iPhone location settings and make sure it matches with the proxy city before connecting the iPhone to my home modem, (Uk).

I read this: (You need to change tinezone to specific country or even city) and assume it does help?

I think I'm on the right path, right?

Thanks

Worth trying at this point, plus I can reasonably see how changing the timezone to the selected location could possibly affect something so there's something to it.

Hi, any updates?
Did it work for you? If yes then what exactly did you do?
