Making money with automation

When it comes to affiliate programs key thing is to find and match offer with potential customers (geographic region, special interest, etc.) + constant research and optimisation. That’s one of main reasons why somebody succeeds and somebody’s not. Simply saying- “Knew your offer and knew your customer”.

Let’s have an example. You have an offer for McAfee antivirus with worldwide coverage. Firstly you have to launch it worldwide to see what “traffic converts most” (which countries are buying it actually), than you optimise that offer to cover only those (or that) country to drill down and check and find proper audience (city, region, education, how old they are, female/male, which os they use, etc.)

I am simplifying this and someone will tell me that that’s not how it works and it will be mostly true (except for media buyers) but you have to start from somewhere

Hello everyone !

So I'm starting to get really good with automation (especially on web browsers), I can do all sort of things, for instance I made bots for spotify, I recently made a script that scraps and downloads every post of an instagram profile (yes it is a sort of automation because just sending requests isn't enough anymore), and I can do a loooot more but I'm running out of ideas because I don't know how to get money with my knowledge, I tried Fiverr with the spotify bots thing but the gig was banned after hitting ~300€ (does not respect terms an conditions). So if I can't use Fiverr I don't know where else I can find people that are interested in these sort of things since it is "technically" illegal. So can you please tell me how to monetize my skills ? it is really frustrating to do things that have a big potential but can't make money with it.

Thank you everyone :D
what does your spotify bot actually do? it is not clear.

Hey Rektop !
I just wanted to drop by and tell you reading you thread inspired me to join bhw as well ! I love programing and dabble into scripting atm, I think it can be a lot of fun monetizing our skills!
Anyway cheer brother

It seems so obvious how didn't I think about it !!
As soon as I can I'll do some tests !

Basically it streams uses a large amount of accounts to stream songs, since a song is counted as a stream after 30s you need to skip the song every 30s (or + if you want to apply a nice strategy), that's the main function of it, but there are more options like liking songs/playlists, subscribing to artitsts...etc, all of these to make the accounts more "real"

From what I can tell ("I'm starting to get really good with automation") you haven't been doing this for long. I would like to ask you: what language do you use to program your bots or scrapers, and how much time did you spend to get to your current level? I'm planning on learning something like this, but I'd like to understand if it's a realistic project (in terms of time I should devote to that).

Do you have any basic tools for the browser that allows you scedule amd auto post on any social media site or any other website?

And how can I find them ?
If you are getting good at automations, scrape youtube, SoundCloud and even Spotify for stuff in bio like "i'm a young artist at the begging of the road etc", you can scrape song by number of plays etc.

If u can find a way to run multiple loot.tv or mmwatch accounts fully automated. 1 please share with me.. but 2 they make decent money
Never heard of these, are they websites like youtube ? They pay depending of number of views like youtube ?

Depends on what you're calling "for long", it takes some months of documentation and tests if you want to understand a big part of the automation processes, there is web automation, mobile automation and even desktop automation if I'm not wrong. I advise you to begin with web automation, it is pretty fun to do and you'll understand the capabilities of what automation can do

Yeah I already thought of doing something like this, I think I will give it a shot
