Yes, back in 2011 or 12, I met two people that, at the time, I considered friends. I wish them the best, but am not in contact with them.
I don't regret it as they are great people, so sometimes you move in different directions.

I have a lot of good friends who would answer my questions on Skype/WhatsApp and vice versa. I don't talk personal stuff with anyone including my real life friends. No small talks.

This is nothing against you, just the word, but many people throw the word around "friend' when the person is an acquaintance. I should know as I have done that a lot in the past, but I don't want that to scare me up and not to trust others and to build friendships. I sometimes think my social skills need work, so it's not always the other person's fault, but a friend or best friend is there for you in your worst moments. For me, that is my wife, and who knows, maybe one day another person will come by, and I might trust them, but there are many great people out there, so don't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.
