Android App With Admob or Facebook Ads: Will it pay?

I have an idea to create android news app and integrate admob or facebook ads.

To get installs i will create facebook campaigns, is this idea still valuable?

How will your app be unique? FB campaigns may get you installs but active users get you the ad revenue. If there's nothing special about your app, they'll uninstall the app and you'll keep burning money on FB ads to get more installs. There are a ton of news apps now, I hope you know what you're doing.

Unless it's an addictive game ,it's hard for you to spend money on ads and get a ROi but i think you should try cuz u never know.

there are many major news apps and website already out unless you are target a specific niche I don't see how you can compete with real newspapers that have a team of writers on staff.
