use Google to find .edu blogs for backlinks

I dont know if this Method was poted here or not
so i'll posted anyawy

this is a method to get good .edu bolgs that are open for commenting and not
having to be registered


simply go to google and search for

site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" -"comments closed" -"you must be logged in" "keyword"

replace the keyword with yours and leave the (") marks.

i use it all the time to get good pr 3,4,5,6 and sometimes even pr 7 backlinks.

just make sure :
*that its ********.
*post high quality comments.
*post diffrent comment on each blog so you wont get spam blocked.

Nice tip, razohad... the fun with search engines, is that you can exactly focus to what you're looking for. Like, indeed, .edu blogs that are open for commenting and not having to be registered. Searching other SE's (Yahoo, MSN, etc.) will find you different results.

Getting only 271 results... Probably because of the "keyword". I'm guessing that you modify the pattern that way for relevant blog posts to what you're trying to post on.

Pretty cool manual way to find .edu blogs, although I used it before, it's nice to see that people share real info on this forum. The only problem is that these .edu blogs try to fight against comment spammers by adding nofollow to the links, so it's not so easy to find quality .edu posts, that don't put "nofollow" to the links.

How do u know if its ******** or not?

If you right click and view the page source, often it will say "no follow" somewhere in the HTML coding

just use firefox add on. get 'seo for firefox' plugin from seobook

if its activated, when u visit a site all the link which have a 'no follow' will be highlighted in red
