How to post in forums with ur keywords inside the pic?

I see some people post their topics and when I check the code they have their keyword in alt="xxxx"

how do you do that? and how do i do that in my vb forum?

Yeah you do it exactly like your example, just put your keyword where you have " HERE??".

OK dude, I didn't realize you just cut and pasted a section of code with no understanding of it. So the answer is NO, don't cut and paste that complete section of code into anything, you are including closing tags for some fonts and divs and that could create problems depending on where you put it.

I don't mean this to be rude, but I think you need to do some searching on g00gle for this. If your understanding of html is that remedial, you need to find a basic html somewhere else. Just do a search for "img src" and you'll find some info.

A lot of the methods on here don't requre you to know any coding or html at all, but it is very helpful if you want to go very far, so be sure to look for a basic html tutorial site somewhere.

Don't get me wrong, keep reading the threads on BHW to learn about marketing, but this isn't an html tutorial forum.

Once you do understand the img src tag, then the answer to your question is, it depends on the forum. Sometimes you won't be able to add any tags at all, sometimes you can enter tags but will need to use a forum code to do it, sometimes there will be a seperate box to put your image url in. Sometimes it wll need tags, other times not. See what I mean? That's why you need to find a good tutorial.

The alt[ternative] tag was developed to the markup language as part of an effort to help the disabled. Specifically, it is supposed to substitute a description that text-to-voice software can use when blind people can't see the image.

You add it into the link code exactly the way others have pointed out.

The "alt" tag seems to be rather highly rated by some search engines so if you can only do one thing I'd suggest using it. But you can also use the properties of the file to add info:

Right click on the file ==>
Properties ==>
Summary

Then in the file's summary box add the info (links, keywords, etc.) you want.
