Twitter testing feature to upload government id

Twitter is now testing the feature to upload government id. I did not trust this news earlier but many sites are reporting this. This will be end of multiple accounts spam on Twitter.

This is not a big deal for general people. If they find the platform useful, they will go with this new rule. But there can be some big individuals like celebs ehi might not want to share their document with them.

I'm also under the impression that this isn't going to be the standard for every account. That said, I can see this being a thing that would happen. Certain video games have implemented the requirement of phone numbers so I'm it's not gonna be entirely shocking to seeing requirements like these on major social media sites.

This will improve the experience for genuine users. But it will reduce the total number of current twitter users by half or more.
