Why some Twitter profiles don't have login lock prompt screen ?

When I was searching around today I was noticing a lot of twitter profiles that did not prompt me to login when I viewed them, not the individual tweets but the profile themselves. Why is this ? And I was checking around all my twitter accounts and all them were still requiring login when trying to view them when not logged in.

I have no idea. It's strange, why are all my twitter profiles still prompting the login for my pages, but there are tons I'm viewing and nothing. Is there a setting for this now ? I have not been following the twitter/x news

I have not seen any setting for this

I am guessing that these are public profiles and can be viewed without logging in.

Private profiles have that option whereas you can't go with locking on public profiles!

maybe they are not locked or limited by Twitter.

Something annoying is that I cannto seem to be able to save my login details so I have to manually type email and pass to log in each time for some reason.

What makes them public exactly ? I was under the impression that basically all profiles could not be viewed unless logged in for the time being during this last month and half or whatever

Looks like some still do for most parts. That's certainly odd, it's probably a visibility setting of some sort. Can't say I've heard of such a thing getting implemented.

When setting up the account, you can configure it as a public profile.
