Should my store accept PayPal?

I'm about to launch a new ecommerce business and I can't decide if I should accept PayPal.

I accept all credit cards and all other mainstream payment methods, but past experience tells me that accepting PayPal is a huge pain in the ass because retards buy things and then file stupid complaints with PayPal demanding a refund. Like how they ordered something 5 minutes ago and still don't have it, or how they ordered a t-shirt and it didn't give them a BJ when they opened the package.

And then there's the fact that PayPal are fucking scumbags who can hold your money for no reason at all and refuse to hand it over.

How important is it to accept PayPal on your online store? Do you guys accept PayPal, and what kind of experience have you had?

You have your answer. If you even remotely have Stripe available or any credit/debit card gateway, you don't need PayPal. As you said people are PITA, both your buyer and at PP

At one point if you didn't have Paypal you were missing out on sales, but not so much these days. One of my sites I have a Paypal option, but majority of sales come in through Stripe.

IMAO Paypal should start think about the sellers as well as they care about customers.

You can safely ditch paypal and go with stripe. It doesn't matter much now. Almost everyone has cards now.

I have a website which accepts both Credit Cards & Paypal. I take the risk to earn the few customers who dares to pay with them, but most just choose cc. It's always good to give people few options of payments.

Tbh, since I'm serving local customers, they could deny the transaction with the credit card processor as well ("I didn't order", "I didn't receive the package", "I didn't receive what I paid for", etc.). Every payment platform, including Crypto, has it's downsides, but it's part of doing business.

Your competitors can rank you 1 star, they can spam you, they can hit your DA, they can abuse Paypal.

Paypal is still important, not so much these days though. Most of the site i buy online no a days don't even have option for paypal.
I use PayPal with people I know, really that what PayPal was all about.
Those who do pay refund, they are scammers, they are not some screwball who is mad at your t-shirt you sold him or something, oh no they are actually scamming scamming using PayPal refund.

Me too! I've had a pretty bad experience with most of my sites having Paypal as a payment option.

Just go with Stripe less hassle and you know you're getting the payment physically

Try to offer discount on Crypto if customers goes with crypto - it works.

Ofcourse. Pak them in. Then pak them out. You want to incorporate every scalable payment option you can. Down to buy now pay laters accnts. Pak em all in, then pak em out.

But if you have Stripe and your account is strong. I know that Stripe works with PayPal and you can do it directly from Stripe Back office.
