So I have been on Twitter a month or so for one of my sites, and have 12 followers, I am finding it a grind.

Do you think Twitter is worth the effort for a website i.e non business site. I think Twitter is good if you're marketing yourself or a product, but for a general niche website not so much. Whatsyour thoughts?

And the thing I hate the most that in my niche I try and interact with others but they are so god damn boring and robotic, every post is the same.

Month 1 I had 0 followers
Month 6 I have 4000 followers
Here is how I did it

All there posts are so templatey and honestly the amount of posts that are exactly the same is unreal. I guess there are templates out there people just copy?

I think Twitter would be good for a non business site when you already have a website following?

Just seems such a grind.

If you provide value yes, if you just shitpost like 99% there, then no

The popular people in my niche provide no value, they just copy and paste templatey type posts and change it a bit.

Whats your definition of providing value on Twitter? And how you meant to grow if no-one see's the posts?

I have never done social media before funnily enough so its all new to me.

For example showing what works and how you do it
Pay Twitter blue to get exposure..

There's gotta be better platforms that gel with what you're doing.

even big brands get much, much, much less engagement on Twitter than on other social media

yeah most of the time people will copy and paste templates, I stop following lot of people on instagram because of that, 10 accounts sharinf the same meme I just needed 1 but right now is the reakl grind it feelds difficult to interact with people.

Twitter is like a shitpost platform where individual come and get in some heated discussion.
